Remember that

Perimeter extraction is not a substitute for grease filters!
Perimeter-extraction Faber hoods are equipped with the best grease filters.

How does perimetral aspiration work?

Perimeter extraction exploits the principles of the Venturi effect: air accelerates as it passes through the constricted extraction space of the panel, and then decreases immediately it enters the hood; it is then easily expelled without need for any particular pressure, making for improved levels of silence.
