The Franke Home Solutions Showroom: 70 Years of Pure Air with Faber

The Franke Home Solutions Showroom: 70 Years of Pure Air with Faber

In Fabriano, the land of master artisans from the Marche region, Franke Home Solutions has unveiled a revolutionary showroom, designed as a space to connect the division’s two leading brands. On one side, Franke, the world’s leading systems provider for residential kitchens; on the other, Faber, the Group’s Air Expert and pioneering brand in cooker hoods, with a long history of research and innovation devoted entirely to optimising air quality in the kitchen.

Furnished to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Fabriano-based brand, the showroom is much more than a simple display space: it is a sensory theatre where architects, designers and consumers can breathe the essence of living kitchens - healthy, customised spaces made possible by technologies that anticipate the needs of contemporary living.

AN EXPERIENTIAL HUB DEDICATED TO INNOVATION

Designed to showcase the integration between Franke systems and Faber technology (the two logos proudly displayed side by side at the entrance), the Fabriano showroom spans 650 square metres and offers an immersive, fluid journey. Over 130 product references come to life in realistic kitchen compositions, featuring fully equipped cooking islands, induction hobs, sinks and taps. This immersive setup allows visitors to observe, touch, and test solutions in real-life conditions.

At the heart of these compositions stand cooker hoods: with their various styles and technologies, they act as the visual and functional centre of every kitchen project, illustrating how clean air becomes the thread connecting sustainable and harmonious living spaces. Through decades of research, the company from Fabriano has redefined this concept, and the showroom makes it tangible: visitors are invited to touch surfaces, activate controls, and measure with their senses the effectiveness of solutions created for everyday well-being at home.

The atmosphere evokes refined domestic settings - natural materials, sophisticated finishes and calibrated lighting that enhance shapes and volumes - guiding guests through thematic galleries dedicated to the brand’s history. Among these, a Silent Room designed for acoustic testing of Faber’s most advanced hoods, and a Technology Room, a space designed to showcase the engineering and manufacturing expertise that has always characterised Faber.

THE FABER AREA: MODULARITY AND DYNAMIC PROJECTS

Within the Fabriano showroom, the section dedicated exclusively to Faber captures immediate attention, becoming a vibrant centre of beauty and functionality. Here the brand’s hoods come to life in a minimalist space, revealing their unique character and perfect harmony with the environment, the ideal context to appreciate how Faber transforms seventy years of experience into versatile models that fit effortlessly with any kitchen style.

A dedicated zone highlights the Modular hoods, winners of the Red Dot Best of the Best 2025: true sculptural compositions adaptable to any space from linear kitchens to central islands, thanks to the possibility of adding shelves on both sides. Nearby stands the Beat model, with its rhythmic silhouette and matte finishes that perfectly embody contemporary design, efficient extraction combined with a slim profile, ideal for minimalist interiors.

THE 70-YEAR SHOWCASE

The highlight of the exhibition is the meticulous celebratory display paying homage to 70 years of Faber, an unmissable opportunity to present the new limited edition Beat Dark Forest, introduced during Design Week 2025. Its deep green textures draw inspiration from forest undergrowth, evoking the strength of nature and the iconic colours of the Faber brand. Opposite the Beat Anniversary zone is the space devoted to T-Shape, one of the most sought-after hoods in the market for its linear design that masterfully unites aesthetics and technology, ideal for maintaining clean air even during intensive cooking, while freeing creative expression.

Immediately beside it, a dedicated wall showcases built-in hoods, perfectly integrated into wall cabinets, along with chimney hoods that transform extraction into a visible architectural feature.

The Faber exhibition concludes with the Galileo range: intelligent hob extractors combining efficient induction cooking with powerful central extraction in a minimal profile. They offer quiet operation, easy cleaning, space optimisation and high performance.

THE HISTORICAL SKETCHES

At the central table, original sketches of legendary Faber models take the spotlight: Vertical Pro, slender and sculptural, captures emissions from above with millimetric precision; Pareo Plus, organic and fluid, evokes natural shapes for warm, welcoming kitchens; Belle Plus, with its sinuous curves, fuses vintage and modernity in an extraction that is both powerful and refined.

These drawings, sourced from Faber’s archives dating back to 1955, together with evolved prototypes, tell an enthralling story of experimentation: from early extractor prototypes to advanced smart hybrids, Faber has always been ahead of its time, turning air from a challenge to solve into an opportunity to enhance and passionately believe in.

The Franke Home Solutions showroom inaugurated in September 2025 is not merely a space but the beating heart of Faber’s 70-year journey, where innovation and artisanal heritage converge, while opening a clear window onto the future of pure air design and wellbeing. Architects, designers, clients and retailers are welcomed to take part in this immersive experience: to touch the silky texture of Beat Dark Forest, to unleash creativity with T-Shape, to evolve with Galileo. Here, integrated and sustainable systems respond to real consumer needs, shaping kitchens with character, healthy, efficient and full of life. In Fabriano, Faber anticipates the future: enter, be amazed, design, and live.
