Odour filters for hoods, also known as activated carbon filters, are designed to capture and neutralise odours from cooking, by absorbing and retaining the molecules responsible for odours. Odour filters in hoods in filtering mode are important because they help to keep the kitchen and the entire home cleaner, more comfortable, and healthier, by reducing the spread of unwanted odours and improving air quality.

Proper maintenance of the odour filter ensures the correct functioning of the hood. Faber offers several types of odour filters, available for both Faber filtering hoods and Faber venting hobs, including:

• Activated carbon filter: it cannot be regenerated and must be replaced every 3 months*.
• High-performance activated carbon filter: must be replaced every 6 months*.
• Long-life activated carbon filter: dishwasher-safe, wash every 3/4 months, for a maximum duration of 3 years*. Dry at room temperature in a vertical position or in an oven at 50°
